![]() ![]() The "trained" perk looks temporary, but once I got it I never lost it, and it's been literally weeks of in-game time since I last "trained" - it doesn't appear to time out. Once you get your own kitchen, the same stuff will last 24 (or 48?) hours, which is pretty awesome. Now that they've fixed the duration for caffeine, tea, and herbal tea, drinking these at a campsite gives +1 to either endurance or strength, like all consumables you can stack up to two of each, and they last a few hours now. One of these is ridiculously difficult to get though, I didn't get it till my 4th play through. There are three bonus Stat points to find, which allow you to raise any stat. You can get temporary perks from many consumables, such as alcohol and weed - these always have negatives as well as positives. There are at least 2 or 3 more you can get, from the same place you get the "Wings" from (but they cost money, and none of them are as good as wings). On very rare occasions I might choose a specific target for them. I might adjust their posture during combat, mainly to "evade" if it looks like they're going to die. Occasionally I might change the config for the tougher fights, or change their ammo to AP (this can make a big difference in some fights). Generally I pre-configure my team, and it's usually fine. Apart from the posture (which you can also set during combat), there are other things you can only set outside of combat, but which are useful: when they run away, when they heal, and what targets to prioritise. No matter what though, it's definitely worth it to talk through all the "tactics" with each team member prior to combat. Most of the time, it's enough to simply choose a stance and let them fight themselves. if you tell them to move somewhere, they won't attack, even if they have the APs - and if you tell them shoot, they'll do that and nothing else. It's not exactly like having full control, since AFAIK they can only do one thing per turn - i.e. go to Peregon and talk to Ivan Ivanovich go to Otradnoye and talk to Ivan Ivanovich there (he is in the house next to his orange/red car) siding with Grankin convince Vasya Radchenko (bartender): e.g. get the quest from Dan at the Abandoned factory. Subreddit dedicated to ATOM RPG which is a crazy and. Elections in Otradnoye is a story quest in ATOM RPG, given by Dan at the Abandoned factory. When you have control (or even while the enemy is moving), you can right-click-hold on someone, then choose a posture (aggressive, defensive, run away), switch weapon, move to position (click on a target square for them to move there), and fire at enemy (choose an enemy for them to attack). My best experience so far was the random encounter with the 3 guys and the Skin worm. You can actually control all the characters (to a point), but it's not obvious at all. ![]()
