![]() ![]() Reapers are strong, but they're easy to counter. Also, you haven't posted anything that suggests you aren't just salty about underestimating someone on a reaper. The counter, however, is not throwing the Dinos they directly counter at them. You also keep trying to claim that reapers have no counter play. Lightning and poison wyvern? Both allow for air to ground damage at a range that will provide easy evasion of the projectiles. Flares aren't applicable and the projectile isn't homing anyway, so moot point. It will not hit you if you're at a high altitude. High altitude maneuvering trumps a reaper. Just dont hover in one spot for too long and dodge. I like it, it gives a solid counter to that flying deathbeam that is a lightning wyvern. Reapers are strong, but they have their counters The project travels very slowly, and it's fairly easy to evade.ĥ: A small pack of allos will deal a significant amount of damage due to the bleed effect. Don't try using fliers and bring a charge light pet.ģ: Yutyrannus also completely negate the armor bonus as well as causing increased damage taken.Ĥ: use irregular flight patterns to close the gap if you're using a flier. It's a smaller list than the island.Ģ: reapers aren't without counter. After three stacks, then you are dropped?ġ: Reaper stats aren't lackluster and imprint kibble isn't difficult. Wouldn't it have been better if it was a stacking debuff? Each hit give a 15 second debuff. Now I agree fliers are over the top in pvp right now, but solutions should be added that have some degree of counter play. Once hit they can chain snare you so you can never take off again. A single hit of its fast moving projectile (which has no drop thus easy to aim) drops a flier. 1-2 of these guys can literally shut down a massive airspace around them with little to no counter play. While the Kings stats and kibble needs for imprinting are lack luster, its pvp utility right click move is just insanely OP. And that is of the lack of apparent counter play vs flying dinos. Since we still had the option to form an alliance, we helped him out a little since we already sank him once.I have a concern about the Reaper King. ![]() If it was impossible to form an alliance since we were reapers, we would have just sank him again and he would have left with nothing but a bad taste in his mouth. That didn't work though, we still had to portal hop. Also having him leave the server after we turned in increased our chances of merging to a new server. We were still pvp reapers but decided to show a little mercy to the guy we already killed so he could make some money from the work he put in. Knowing it was him and seeing he had an offer alliance flag now, we told him we would form an alliance with him so he could make some money off the treasure we took from him as well as the treasure from the other ships we sank, but then he had to leave the server afterwards so we could merge. However, he respawned and met us at the reaper's hideout. ![]() We sank him and took his stuff and he gave us a defeated "gg" as his ship went down. One of those happened to be a solo slooper that was taken by surprise when he found us on his ship. That's what makes Reaper's Bones what it friends and I were having fun sinking ships as a reaper. Trouble is going to come to them one way or another, and how it's tackled against anyone that dares to sail within their broadsides, or vice versa, is random. That being said there's no real point judging how others play one of the most effectively conflict-prone trading companies in the game. You can grind world events as a Reaper and hunt emissaries later as a playstyle, you could start causing havoc and stacking as much loot as possible via various methods, maybe you don't want to sink other boats (for some reason), you can do that. Yes there are slight bonuses turning in stolen loot, but it is not the only way to play the Reaper's Bones. They don't care how you get the loot, as long as you turn it in to them. Honestly? The PvP traits are unique to Reaper's Bones, their goal was to make a mockery of the other trading companies via their own emissary. ![]() Said in Prevent Reapers from being able to join an So if Reapers isn't the adventure PvP faction, how come your emissary flag level increases more from stolen loot, why does your flag level increase from killing emissary players, why does it require you to sink emissaries, why does the emissary mark you on the map, and why does the grade 5 affect mark all emissaries on your map? seems kind of strange to have so many PvP factors in a non-PvP faction ![]()
